Weight Loss Plan - Isagenix Cleansing & Fat Burning System

My husband and I started the Isagenix Cleansing System on April 11th. I opted to do the pre-cleanse first and my husband jumped right in and started the initial 2 day cleanse.. - Isagenix Product Information

The first 2 day my husband consumed the Isagenix Cleanse 4 times a day, Ionix and Accelerator capsules. He mentioned during the first 2 days that although he did not get weak he did develop a slight headache. We later found out that this was due to the fact that he was not drinking enough water. He increased his water intake and his headache disappeared. The headache was an indication that toxins needed to be flushed out of his system. That is why you must increase your water intake during the cleanse

Day 3-7 consists of a Ionix, Accelerator capsules, 2 Isalean Shakes (breakfast and dinner) and a sensible meal consisting of 400-600 calories. My husband also weight trains 2-4 times per week. Marcus commented that he didn't realize that you could eat between 400-600 calories a day and still get full. He typically ate Spinach Salad with green peppers, tomatos, melons, walnuts and chicken breast. He used an organic honey mustard dressing. He also cheated once or twice during the cleanse and purchased a chopped salad from Portillos. This particular salad included lettuce, croutons, onions, fried bacon, chicken breast with dressing. I'm sure he went over his 600 calorie limit with this salad.

I also made us a few turkey breast or chicken breast sandwiches on whole wheat bread with lettuce, tomato and dijon mustard.

Marcus lost 16.5 pounds and over 9.5 inches. I lost 6.5 pounds and 5.6 inches. Although it does not seem like I lost a whole lot I can tell you that my cloths fit lose. I could not wear one of my favorite skirts to work because it was falling off of me. I could not imagine that 6.5 pounds would make such a huge difference but it did. The program did mention that the average weight loss was 7 lbs. I can tell you that I did not do much exercising on this plan (the plan suggest 20 minutes a day).

My husband also lost 2 inches around his waste and abdomen (his problem areas). He mentioned that he also noticed that his pants and jeans fit lose.

We also drank the "Want More Energy" drink. This gave both of us a lot of energy. I never during the 9 day cleanse felt drained or tired. During the cleanse days we did get hungry but you are allowed to eat the snacks provided with the plan or 2 of the 4 snacks outlined in the Program Guide.

I also purchased the Isaflush and Isafruits. The Isafruit is going to take the place of the juice and pop we would normally drink as it is loaded with vitamins and minerals.
Our overall review of the program is excellent. It did exactly what it was suppose to do. It is not a magic bullet. You will have to take some action.

Follow the plan to the letter. If it says exercise for 20 minutes do it. It doesn't have to be strenuous. I could have walked 20 minutes during lunch (I plan on doing this during my 30 day plan). Drink half your weight in water. I.E. if you weigh 200 lbs. dring 100 oz. of water daily. Marcus is not a water drinker. To give the water some taste he placed several lemon wedges in the water and he said that made a big difference.

The one thing I had to remember was it didn't take me 9-30 days to put the weight on so it wasn't going to take 9-30 days to take it off. My husband has about 30 additional pounds to lose. I have a long way to go. I would like to lose 60 lbs. before my 36th birthday on July 14th.

UPDATE: I started the 30 days cleanse on April 30th after seeing the results from the 9 day cleanse. I have lost 20lbs. I don't like exercising but I have increased my activity level by walking more. What is amazing is I have cheated a few times with no noticeable increase in weight. I continue to drink at least 40-60 oz. of water per day. If I can do this anyone can do this. ISAGENIX WORKS!
